== Overview  ==

This button allows you to view the '''Accounts Receivable Report '''as at the time of your last Update Batch (see Report Selector). The Accounts Receivable Report displays unpaid Sales Invoices. You have the ability to display the Accounts Receivable Report by All Departments (Cost Centres), or by one Department at a time. The Report can also be displayed by Date Range selection if required. 

==== How To View the Accounts Receivable Report  ====

*The '''Accounts Receivable Report''' is accessible via the following screens where you select the Accounts Receivable Button. 
*An individual Accounts Receivable report for a single customer can be run from within the Customer Card by selecting the Customer from the Customer List and then clicking on the "AR Report" button. 
*The Accounts Receivable Report can default to the department the user is linked to. This can be set in [[Preferences]] under the Miscellaneous heading 
*The Accounts Receivable Report can be viewed in the following methods. 
*Summary - This displays Outstanding Balances 
*Details - This displays Outstanding Balances by Transaction type, e.g. Invoice.
*Extra Details - This displays Outstanding Balances by Invoice etc. including all information regarding the transaction such as Invoice numbers. In extra details you may also 'drill down' to view the source transactions.

==== You may also wish to adjust the date range in order to show only the time frame you are interested in. For Companies that use departments, you have the ability to view this report by one Department or All Departments.  ====

*Tick 'All' to display Report by All Departments 
*Un-tick 'All' and select a Department from the drop-down to display the report by a specific Department. 
*The 'Show Prepayments' check box allows you to include or exclude Prepayment transactions.

*Age by Transaction Date: Shows payments due by age from the creation of the transaction regardless of the payment terms. 
*Select Group Jobs with Customer

*A Customer Job is an entry or a task that is directly linked to a customer. Therefore invoices and payments can be forwarded and received in direct relation to the Job. Refer Customer Jobs and Job Profitability Report for further details.

*Ticking 'Group Jobs with Customer' allows the user to identify the total receivables for a Customer including all Jobs with balances owing. The list will now display the Debtor as per the main Customer Name, e.g. Jones instead of Jones (Bathroom). 
*Select the 'Bulk Received' button displayed at the bottom of the Accounts Receivable List to load the Bulk Received payment screen. 
*Bulk Received payments can be from a single source such as a Customer's Head Office on behalf of a number of 'Jobs' invoiced to different entities/locations but related to the one customer. Refer to Received Bulk Payments within the Payments tab for details on completion.
