The Serial / Job Numbers screen is where you can create serial numbers which are then available for allocation to a<br>product from a sale transaction or from a repair or job. The screen also shows serial numbers that have already been <br>allocated. 

Using Serial / Job numbers 

*Select [[Inventory]] tab<br>*Select Serial / Job Numbers button<br>*To generate more serial numbers enter the quantity of serial numbers to be generated in the Generate field<br>*Enter the first serial number to be generated in the Serial Numbers From fields<br>*Enter the department if not Default<br>*Enter OK<br>*The new serial numbers have been generated and can be allocated to a product from a sale transaction with<br>the F9 key in the serial number allocation screen.<br>
