Purge Audit Trail
Why would you clean this out occassionally?
Every transaction is written to the Audit Trail. Over a period of time this file will become very large and start slowing down transaction processing. When the Audit Trail is purged a copy is saved to an archive so no information is lost
Select Utilities in the top menu bar then from the Drop Down menu Select Audit Trail Select Purge Audit Trail
Enter name of file to archive the records before purging.
