Product Source
Do you understand when by default the sales order should be set to "By Default"?
This preference causes any order for a manufactured product to go to the "Orders From Stock" list, giving you the option to take the order from existing stock if available or to manufacture it. This option should only be chosen if there are no optional choices offered in any manufactured products.
The alternative is "Open Product Source Option From Sale. (ie. Stock or Manufacture) which will cause a Pop-Up window to appear asking whether to take from stock of Manufacture.
How to Set Product Source Go to Utilities Tab Select Preferences Select Manufacturing Under the heading General, tick Open Product Source Option from Sale or Manufacture Part Source from Stock by default
