Manufactured Product
Where do you start the creation for a Bill of Materials (BOM)?
Select Inventory Create a new Product (the product will be the name of the end product that is to be manufactured) Select the Manufacture tab
A manufactured product has sub Assemblies attached to it eg. A wagon has Welding/Wheel assembly and Painting as sub assemblies Give the finished product a Process Step - typically would be Assembly
To add a branch under your finished product right mouse click and select add a branch Click once into the box to type in a name Double click to bring up the Product list to make your choice from
