Stock or Manufacture
How do you create a pop-up to allow a choice of Manufacture or take from stock?
Manufacturing a product is instigated by the creation of a Sales Order and the completion of the manufactured item trigures the production of an invoice which is perfect for any product that is made to order.
When creating the sales order you will be asked whether to take the item from existing stock or to manufacture it, if you have set the Product Source<LinkId=972> in Preferences. This also effects the product price<LinkId=997> and whether you are offered any option choices.
How to display the pop-up box
Go to Sales tab Select Sales button Select the customer Select the product A pop-up box will now appear asking if you want to manufactur or take from stock and displaying stock availablility
