First Period
Where do you set up the first period?
The first period for a budget is effectively a template on which future periods will be modelled. Having defined_the_budget<LinkId=585> you now need to go to the Budget screen and set up the First Period, which means entering the accounts to be monitored and the amounts budgeted for those accounts so this does require some thought before starting.
How to choose departments
Select Budget tab Select Budget button Select Budget Name from the drop down list - The screen will default to the first period
If you are doing this budget by date only you are now ready to add accounts and values, or you can further filter the results by Jobs<LinkId=1131>.
