Changing Dates
Can you run a Profit and Loss Report from the report selector changing the dates on the report selector?
- From the Main Menu select theReports button at the bottom of the screen to open the Report Selector
- The Date Range Selector enables the user to view specific dates from the drop-down menu E.g. Today, Yesterday, Last Week, Month or Quarter, Previous Week, Month, Quarter, This Financial Year etc.
- The user can also select the date range by using the From and To drop down menu. Once selected the dates Automatically update with the required information.
- From - refers to the Oldest starting date of the information you wish to view and includes the date selected.
- To - refers to the most recent date of the information you wish to view and includes the date selected.
- The Date Range Selector is a valuable tool available in almost every report and List within ERP. You can search over any date range going backwards and forwards for days, weeks, months and years. ERP has no restriction on how large the date range is. However the greater the range, the greater the amount of data selected, the slower the report or list is to generate. The smaller the range , the smaller the amount of data, the faster the report or list will be.
- The Date Range function enables the user to search for information within a specific date range E.g. the current financial year, it makes it easier to find and view the data you are looking for.
- In the Report Selector after the date ranges are choosen then you must either Double Click on the required report or click the OK button on the report selector.
N.B. If using Batch Transactions for reports, the reports are accurate up to the date and time of the last update. This is displayed in the very top windows bar.
