Fixed Sell

What effect is there of defining the sell price for the BOM?

Defining a Fixed Sell price means that the price won't change if input costs change either from offering a choice of components or through changes in the cost of a component. For some products market reality may require a Fixed Price even if costs are changing regularly.

  • From the Main Menu select the Inventory Module and create a new Product of the type Inventory Part.
  • Leave the %(Ex):Cost/Sell blank
  • Set the Qty Sell price/s as the Fixed Price you have decided upon.
