follow-up on the other hand does not create an appointment but adds a reminder to do something on a given date.

A follow-up consists of a date, notes (what needs doing) and an employee name.  It can also be marked as Done.

How to add a follow-up for another employee.

Make sure that the 'Preference' has been selected. Go to 'Utilities' module. Select 'Preferences', and then go to the tab 'Employee' and ensure all the relevant 'Days in Advance for Reminder to Appear' has been selected and a number for days has been entered in. Then from within the Repair Card select the 'Faults/F UP' button. Then on the left side is the follow up area where you can issue a 'Follow Up Date' followed by some 'Notes' and then select an 'Employee Name' to assign this follow up to.

Select Follow Ups tab

Select the last existing Follow-up and use the down arrow on your keyboard to create a new entry

Enter the date to be followed up, the note on what needs to be followed up and the employee name

Follow-ups - Can you enter a repair follow-up for another employee?
