Grouping

Grouping using a list box is a control that provides a means of displaying a list of items (text, numbers, dates or whatever) on an Access form. The list remains on view all the time, giving the List Box the appearance of a scrolling text box.


Grouping - Are you using all four grouping fields to correctly organize your Products?


Main Menu

  • Select Inventory
  • Product button.
  • Across the first row of your product card under the Main tab you will see your four grouping fields. Product name and Sub Groups which are customizable and help organize your product.


The 4 Fields are that create the Product's Tree (once you enter a description in any of these fields the tree will automatically begin to build in the bottom right corner box) this feature will help in locating your product for inventory and also aid in creating filters.

  • Manufacture
  • Type
  • Department
  • Product Type
