Weeks To Display
Have you defined how many weeks in advance that you wish to display on the Capacity Planning Calender?
The number of weeks to display is largely dependent on the amount of time taken to process orders.
- From the Main Menu select the Utilities Module then the Preferences button.
- Select the Manufacturing tab and under the heading Production Planning, enter the number of Weeks to display on the Capacity Planner
- Under the heading Auto Scheduling, set the number of Auto Production Scheduling Grace Days. This is how many days from when the order is placed until you need to schedule it. You can set the number of grace days to Forward Eg. Forward 1 day means the order will be scheduled for production 1 day After the order is placed. Alternatively you can set the number of grace days Reverse Eg. Reverse 1 day means the order will be scheduled for completion 1 day Prior to the shipping date
- Under the heading Stock Requirements set how many days ahead do you need to order stock prior to production being scheduled - Product Delivery Grace Days
