The Serial / Job Numbers screen is where you can create serial numbers which are then available for allocation to a
product from a sale transaction or from a repair or job. The screen also shows serial numbers that have already been
allocated.

Using Serial / Job numbers

  • Select Inventory tab
    *Select Serial / Job Numbers button
    *To generate more serial numbers enter the quantity of serial numbers to be generated in the Generate field
    *Enter the first serial number to be generated in the Serial Numbers From fields
    *Enter the department if not Default
    *Enter OK
    *The new serial numbers have been generated and can be allocated to a product from a sale transaction with
    the F9 key in the serial number allocation screen.
