Date Ranges

Has the List Date Range options been explained when comparing speed to functionality?

When a list or report is opened eg. Purchase order list, it will open with an auto date range setting that has been defined in the employee preferences.

  • To adjust this auto date range select theUtilities Module then select Preferences
  • Select the Employee button and scroll down to the Default Employee's List Date Range and set as required
  • # Day Past 30  # Days Forward 5 would be a typical setting

N.B. Remember the bigger the date range, the more information that is trying to be retrieved, which will slow down the system. The smaller the date range the faster the information can be retrieved. When in a list the date can easily be adjusted by clicking on the drop down Date Picker menus.
