List Date Range
Has the List Date Range options been explained when comparing speed to functionality?
When a list or report is opened E.g. Purchase Order List, it will open with an auto date range setting that has been defined in the Employee Preferences.
- To adjust this auto date range go to Utilities - Preferences - Employee.
- Scroll down to Default Employee's List Date Range and set # Day Past and # Days Forward as required
- 30 Days Past and 5 Days Forward would be a typical setting
- Remember the Bigger the date range, the more information that is trying to be retrieved, which will slow down the system.
- The Smaller the date range the faster the information can be retrieved.
- When in any list, the date can easily be adjusted by clicking on the Drop Down Date Picker Menus.
