Date Range and Speed

Has the List Date Range options been explained when comparing speed to functionality?

When a list or report is opened E.g. Purchase Order List, it will open with an auto date range setting that has been defined in the Employee Preferences.

  • To adjust this auto date range go to Utilites - Preferences - Employee.
  • Scoll down to Default Employee's List Date Range and set  # Day Past  &  # Days Forward as required
  • 30 Days Past and 5 Days Forward would be a typical setting
  • Remember the Bigger the date range, the more information that is trying to be retrieved, which will slow down the system.
  • The Smaller the date range the faster the information can be retrieved.
  • When in any list, the date can easily be adjusted by clicking on the Drop Down Date Picker Menus.
