Building For Stock
Which option on the Sales Order form creates an internal order for stock only?
Manufacturing a product is instigated by the creation of a Sales Order and the completion of the manufactured item triggers the production of an Invoice which is perfect for any product that is made to order.
Often however you want to manufacture products to place into stock. In this case you don't want an invoice to be produced and don't want the sales order to show on sales reports. You do this by flagging the Sales Order as Internal
How to create an internal Sales Order
Go to Sales tab Select Sales button Enter an "internal Customer" (eg. Workshop) as the company Tick the Internal Order check box
