Prepared - How does the prepared flag effect the Pay Summary screen?
The Prepared button is not essential but is available for your convenience so that you can flag which pays in the next pay run have been checked. This is particularly useful for a busy HR department where each pay needs to be modified or checked for each pay run. By flagging the pay as "prepared" the pay will be shaded in green in the Pay Summary Screen.
Note: You need to refresh the screen to see the most recent changes.
How to Flag a pay as Prepared? Select the Payroll tab Select the Pay Staff Button Select a pay to prepare When finished select the Prepared check box Save - this will close the screen and return you to the Pay Summary screen Select the Refresh button (top left) and the prepared pay will change color
