Email Information

Email Information - How do you create an email Correspondence Reference to send to a Lead?

From within the Lead Card you need to issue an 'Email' follow up type for this lead. So click the 'Email' button at the bottom of the Lead Card and either select a 'Reference' from the drop down or start typing a reference to create a new one. Once created and added text for the reference, click 'Save' and send out the 'Email'. If we then look back at that Lead and have a look at the follow ups, you will see an email action was added and if you select the tab 'Correspondence' from within the Lead Card, it will show you all the information around that email you just sent.

This will populate your email program e.g. Outlook, Thunderbird etc. auto loading the email address assigned to the lead. Type your message and send your email as per normal.

The Lead will record the logged email for future reference. You will then have a record of the date the email was sent so you can cross-reference it to your personal email program.
