Foreign Exchange Lists

Foreign Exchange Lists - Do you know how to turn on Foreign Exchange Values in some reports?

In some of the reports, for Example; Trial Balance and Accounts Payable Report you can see different currencies also. But First you need to make sure the Foreign Currency that you want to deal in is activated.

How to Activate Foreign Currency?

The Foreign Exchange Rates List displays a list of all Active and Inactive Rates. From here you can also add new Foreign Exchange Rates and change details of existing ones.

  • To view the Foreign Exchange Rates List Select the General Module and select Foreign Exchange Rates List button or Select the Accounts drop-down from the top toolbar and Select Foreign Exchange Rates List.
  • Select the relevant radio button to view Active Rates, Inactive Rates, or All Rates.
  • Double-click to open any Foreign Exchange Rate in the lists to edit the details.
  • Select the New button if you want to create a new Foreign Exchange Rate. (Most of the rates are already in the Inactive Rates).
  • Alter Buy Rate and Sell Rate and make sure to tick on Active on bottom right to activate this Foreign Currency.

Once the Foreign Currency has been activated you can use it in some of the reports like; Trial Balance, Accounts Payable etc.

Open a report for example Trial Balance click on Customise. Here you will find an additional Tab named Foreign Currencies. Select the Currencies you want to view in your report, and click save.
