Overview

A Fixed Assets will eventually be disposed of, either after it has been depreciated to a zero value or at some point during the asset life. The disposal screen calculates the book value at the time of disposal.

How to use Disposal

• Select Fixed Assets Tab
• Select Fixed Assets List button
• Select the Fixed asset to be disposed of
• Select the Disposal tab

• Tick Disposal of Asset radio button
• Select Disposal Date from the drop down list for the Depreciation schedule you wish to use
• Enter the Sales Price
• Select the Calculate button

The Accumulated Depreciation and Book Value will be displayed for the date of disposal
