Data Update

Within ERP you are able to update all prices, re-order points, product departments, batches & bins, and activity of products within the inventory listing by selecting the Data Update option. You have the ability to select a specific criteria of Inventory to ensure that you are only adjusting required items.

How to use Data Update

· Select the Inventory tab · Select the Data Update button

· The criteria to choose from for your data update is listed in 'Selection' field as per below. · Select the action you wish to perform an update for, e.g. Product Prices. Notice that the fields relating to your selection will remain highlighted and the fields that do not relate will be grayed out.

· Select 'All' if you wish to update all your product prices. · Select 'Product Type' if you wish to perform the update on specific product types. (As per the example below). · If you want to update a specific category of product as per column's 1, 2 & 3 in your product cards, simply select the category/s you require from the drop-down menu under each heading. · If you only want to update prices for a select number of products (regardless of type or category), select each product individually from the 'Product' drop-down menu.

· Select the 'Price Type' you are wanting to update, e.g. 'Line Price'

NB: If you select the Fixed Main/Extra Sell choice this will update the main screen prices. Be aware that this will change all products selected to a fixed price.

· Select the 'Customer' you are updating, e.g. 'All' Customers. You can choose to update a particular Customer type if required. · Select 'Exclude Special Prices' for this example (refer Sales/Customer/Special Prices).

· Select the Variation Option to Increase by a Percentage of 5%

(You can update by a $ value if required).

· Select 'Update'

· Select OK to the following message if you are sure of your selection.

Note that the message indicates the number of records about to be updated.

· The following field will indicate the records have been updated. · Select 'Close'

· Select 'Correct Extra Sell Prices' and select the criteria required as per instructions above, remembering that ERP will auto load only the fields that apply to your selection. ERP will also prompt you if you have not completed all required fields.

· Select 'Add to Department' and select the criteria required as per instructions above, remembering that ERP will auto load only the fields that apply to your selection. ERP will also prompt you if you have not completed all required fields. · Special note for this selection: When a Product list is first imported into ERP you will not see the products in the product list until you add them to a Department/s.

· Select 'Customer Prices' and select the criteria required as per instructions above, remembering that ERP will auto load only the fields that apply to your selection. ERP will also prompt you if you have not completed all required fields.

· Select 'Batch & Multi Bin' and select the criteria required as per instructions above, remembering that ERP will auto load only the fields that apply to your selection. ERP will also prompt you if you have not completed all required fields.

· Select 'Adjust Class Variance' (Class = Department) and select the criteria required as per instructions above, remembering that ERP will auto load only the fields that apply to your selection. ERP will also prompt you if you have not completed all required fields.

· Select 'Deactivate Products' and select the criteria required as per instructions above, remembering that ERP will auto load only the fields that apply to your selection. ERP will also prompt you if you have not completed all required fields.

· Select 'Update Re-Order Points' and select the criteria required as per instructions above, remembering that ERP will auto load only the fields that apply to your selection. ERP will also prompt you if you have not completed all required fields.
