Lead Status
How do you assign a Status to a lead?
Select the Marketing tab Select the Lead List button Select the Lead you wish to edit Select the Status from the drop-down menu near the top right of the Lead form
Where do you create your 'Status' list?
Select the Marketing tab Select the Lead List button Select the Lead you wish to edit Type the new Status into the Status field then select the tab or enter on your keyboard Select OK (or Cancel if typed incorrectly) to the following Question "The lead status you have specified is currently not known. Would you like to add this to the collection list?" The Lead/Quote Status Types list will load Re-enter you Status into the Type column after selecting a new line Add a description for the Status Select Active by double clicking in the tick box If you wish this Status to be the default status for all Leads, then double click on the Default tick box Select OK to save the list Your new Status is now available for selection from the Status drop-down menu
