Has it been explained how and why you would set-up client types?
To be able to create different pricing structures for selling a product, create a customer type e.g Wholesale This will allow you to then create a different price when selling a product to a customer who is a wholesaler.
When entering a new customer - under Customer Type:
Select from the drop down menu If the customer type is not there Type in the new customer type - a question box will appear Selection NOT in list, Create New? Say yes to this A Customer Type box appears for entering details Type Name: Description: Default Accounts - Select from drop down menu Terms - select from drop down menu Credit Limit - enter amount Grace Period - days If Apply Globally is ticked this will apply the credit terms to all customers Ensure Active is ticked Click on New button to add further Customer types. Click Save
