Selling From A Bin
How do bins interact with purchase and sales transactions?
Bins can be used to track the location of Inventory Items. A Bin can represent any location from a whole storage room to a position on a shelf, and multiple bins can be available for any products you buy or sell. When you buy or sell a product with bins activated, you must know which bin the product is to be stored in or taken from. The allocation<LinkId=593> of the bin can be automatic or manual at the time of the transaction depending on the settings you have chosen.
Go to Sales tab Select Invoice Select a client from the drop down list Select a product that has bins turned on Click on the Allocation column - if bin allocation is set to automatic the bin will have been allocated. If manual you can choose the bin from the drop down list of available bins. If Automatic you can overide the allocation by selecting another bin
