Where do you dispose of the asset?

A Fixed Assets will eventually be disposed of, either after it has been depreciated to a zero value or at some point during the asset life. The disposal screen calculates the book value at the time of disposal.

How to use Disposal

Select Fixed Assets Tab Select Fixed Assets List button Select the Fixed asset to be disposed of Select the Disposal tab

Tick Disposal of Asset radio button Select Disposal Date from the drop down list for the Depreciation schedule you wish to use Enter the Sales Price Select the Calculate button

The Accumulated Depreciation and Book Value will be displayed for the date of disposal
