Copying Across Periods
Do you know how to copy these values to all periods?
The first period for a budget is effectively a template on which future periods will be modelled. Once you have added all values for the first period you should copy them to all periods with variations as desired.
How to copy values
Select Budget tab Select Budget button Select Budget Name from the drop down list - The screen will default to the first period Under Account Name enter the first account to be monitored from the drop down list. Enter amounts for each department and each Description<LinkId=1129> Use the Down Arrow on your keyboard to create a new line and repeat as above for each account to be included in this budget. When you are satisfied with these figures, select Copy To All Periods button at bottom of screen The Budget Variation screen will appear
If you wish to build in a variation (increase or decrease) for each period enter the amount or percentage variation Select Copy button - this will populate all periods.
