Removing Selections

How do you remove matrix products that you don't order?

After defining your product attributes<LinkId=1178> and adding values and descriptions you must create the products. Creating the products creates a unique product for each combination of attributes. This means if your Tshirt product has three attributes each with five potential values you will create one hundred and twenty five products (5x5x5=125).

Of course you may not want to sell all of these combinations. eg. There may be limited market for XXL Tshirts in a short length and in dayglow orange so you can remove this product from the list in the Linked Products screen.

How to Remove a Selection

• Select Inventory tab
• Select Products Attributes Button
• Select NEW button
• Enter details as per New_Attribute<LinkId=1180>
• Select Next to create the Products
• Select the Select All check box
• Select Create Selected Products button - you will see a progress bar as the products are created.
• Select Next button when the progress bar has finished You will now be in the Linked Products screen
• Scroll down and select any products that are not wanted
• Select the red X in the top left corner - the product will now change colour indicating that it will be deleted.
• Continue to select any other unwanted products. When all unwanted products have been flagged for deletion select Next button
