Manufactured Product
Where do you start the creation for a Bill of Materials (BOM)?
- From the Main Menu select the Inventory Module and then the Product + Button
- Create a New Product which will be the name of the End Product that is to be Manufactured.
- Select the Manufacture tab to load the BOM screen
- A Manufactured Product has Sub Assemblies attached to itEg A wagon has Welding/Wheel assembly and Painting as sub assemblies
- Give the finished product a Process Step by Double Clicking the Process Steps Field- typically this would be Assembly
- To Add a Branch under your finished product Right Mouse Click and select Add a Branch
- Click once into the Highlighted box to type in a name or Double click to open the Product List to make your choice from
