Auto Load Customer Equipment - What is required for a Product to save as a piece of Customer Equipment automatically from a Sales Transaction?

When in the Product Card in the 'Main' tab area, make sure the 'Is Equipment' box is ticked. When a transaction is being done, make sure the transaction has been completed for it to load as equipment against that customer.
