Custom Filters
Custom Filters - Do you know how to create a custom filter?
Once you have applied a filter in a list and you are satisfied with it, you can add it to custom filter so that you do not have to create this filter every time to fetch a particular data.
- After Applying a Filter. You will see the applied filter in Red at the bottom. For Example: ([Employee] = 'Dene Mills') AND ([Terms] = 'COD') in Invoice Detail List.
- Right Click and Select Add Custom Filter. A Custom Filter window will open up.
- Give a Name to this in the Filter Name field.
- You will be able to see the filter too in the window for which you are creating a Custom Filter.
- Tick Global, if you want to set this filter to be viewed by every user. Uncheck just for the individual who is creating the Custom Filter.
- Tick Default Filter if you want the list to open up with the filter being applied, otherwise leave it uncheck.
- Make sure Active is ticked.
- Click Save to complete making the Customer Filter.
- In the list, in which the Custom Filter has been set, you can click on Custom Filter drop down to select the custom filter that you have created.
