Marketing Contact - What is the basic concept of a Marketing Contact and the two key areas it links to?

A 'Marketing Contact' is an individual you have not contacted yet and must be viewed as a number in your phone directory. Only once you have made contact with that 'Marketing Contact' does that individual become a 'Prospect' and then ultimately a 'Customer'. Again the way in which we track this 'Marketing Contact' will be via the 'Leads' application.
