9. Descriptions

Descriptions
A statement, picture in words, or account that describes; descriptive representation.
Descriptions - Do you understand why the Purchase and Sales descriptions can be different?
The Purchase Description can be used for describing the product for internal use.
- Enter Description on Purchase Transactions (by default, same as product name)
- Description will Auto Fill from the product name into the Purchase description
- If a more detailed description is required select "+" to open Description Memo form and enter description
The Sales Description is what you would want your customers to see.
- Enter Description on Sale Transactions
- Select Copy - which will then copy from the Description on Purchase Transactions
OR
- Enter a Description on Sale Transactions - this is the description that will appear on invoices etc.
- If a more detailed description is required select "+" to open Description Memo form and enter description
