Capacity Planning (Gantt Chart)

Overview
Capacity Planning (Gantt Chart): A Gantt chart is a useful way of showing activities (tasks or events) displayed against time. On the left of the chart is a list of the activities and along the top is a suitable time scale. Each activity is represented by a bar; the position and length of the bar reflects the start date, duration and end date of the activity. This allows you to see at a glance:
- What the various activities are
- When each activity begins and ends
- How long each activity is scheduled to last
- Where activities overlap with other activities, and by how much
- The start and end date of the whole project
A Gantt chart shows you what has to be done (the activities) and when (the schedule). Capacity Planning in the form of chart.
You can move to next page with the available buttons or you can see the chart from a precise date. You can see all customer Capacity or any particular customer capacity planning from the drop down menu under the heading Cust. Similarly you can choose or select or resources from the drop down menu under Resource. Same with the Process and Sales Order you can filter them all.
You can toggle between a Summary, Detail and Extra Detail modes giving you detail information on the option you choose. You can check the planning on hourly and daily basis and can adjust the Column width as well.
Auto Select will do the planning automatically on the available time and resources. Click save if everything as per your requirement or clear if you want to wipe off everything from the capacity planning.
