Input Types
What is the default setting forInput Types?
Each branch in a BOM must have its own Input Type. The default value is NONE and in most cases this will be the correct value. The Input Type asks the question "what do you you need to do with this branch at point of sale?"
If, as in the case of the Handle in the Wagon example, the branch represents a component product to always be included without options then the action required for this branch when selling the product is NONE because the handle never changes from one order to the next.
The only time the Input Type is not NONE is where the Buyer is Given a Choice.
To select an Input Type click once on None to load the drop down list
The Input Types on the list are None, User, Option, Custom
