24. Related Parts

Related Parts
A related Part is used when you have a main product that you sell and when this product is sold there is a related part product that is always sold along with the main product.
Related Parts- Do you know how to create related products and understand this functionality?
From the Main Menu
- Select Inventory
- Products Express List button.
- Double click your selected product
- Under the Related Parts tab you will find all of the functions for adding a related part to your product
- Enter your Part Name that is to be related then
- Eample: Product Monitor...Related part to Monitor is a Mouse...Related part to Mouse is a keypad
- If you wish to Hide the related part, tick the Hide Radio Button - RECOMMEND not to click Hide if there is a value loaded for the related part.
- Enter Quantity that is to be the default
- Enter any other pertinent information
- Click Save
You can add as many related parts to a product as you want, simply select the Part Name column and press the down arrow to create a new line.
