Job Profitability

Would you use the job profitability function and if so, can you create a job profitability report?

If you want to assess the overall profit on a specific customer job you can create a report to analyse a job.

Go to Reports (three ways of doing this)

1. Click on Reports tab at bottom of main screen 2. Click on the Report button on main screen 3. Click on the Reports on the top menu bar

Select Jobs radio button Click on Job Profitability Report Adjust date range as required Click OK

When in the Job Profitability screen deselect All customers if you want to report on a specific customer and select the Customer name from the drop down menu.

You can also use filtering within this screen to filter on customers or jobs for more specific analyses.

You can also Customise the report by selecting or deselecting columns.

Do you understand why Jobs appear as they do in the Customer List?

When a job is created it will appear in the Customer List as a Duplicate Company Name for the customer. In the Job Name Column you will see the Job Name that has been entered when creating the Job. You will also be able to view the Job Number column as well. (Just ensure these columns are selected within the Customise List)
