Overview
You can store a picture of any product in the product file using the Picture tab. Sometimes a visual check of a product can be valuable as a simple chack that the right product has been selected. Pictures can be used on POS terminals or when Barcode Picking and can even be printed on invoices, purchase orders and wherever a template is used to print information relating to a product.
How to Use Product Picture
- Select Inventory Tab
- Select Product (to create a new product) or alternatively select a product from the Product List
- Select Picture Tab
- Select Add Picture - A Windows Explorer screen wioll open and you can browse to the location of the picture
you want
- Select the picture and select Open - the picture will now appear on screen
- Select Save
NOTE: Care should be taken with the size of the picture file you select. Hi Resolution Pictures will increase the size of your ERP database very quickly, slowing processes such as backups. Also the dimensions of the picture will not be resized when printing so if the Picture is not the desired dimension it should be resized in a graphics application before being added to the file.
