SMS Set Up

First we will look at setting this up with our EDI and Integration. We need the SMS software providers data to sync with TrueERP's and we will use EDI and integration for this. (Sending TrueERP data to the SMS software provider and back.)
First thing you need to do is phone the service provider you wish to use and obtain certain credentials from them (User Name, Password etc) for TrueERP to be able to send and receive data.
So in order to do this go you Utilities module inside TrueERP, select Preferences and then messaging. Enable SMS by entering the User Name, Password and Phone Number.
This setup can also be found in Utilities, Preferences and then EDI and Integration.
Within messaging option in Preferences, you can also select message text to go out automatically once completing a transaction, without you having to enter it in manually all the time.
