Overview

Tracking Sources (ie. the source of customer enquiries) allows you to enquire on and list sources of customer contact such as advertising campaigns like Yellow Pages, radio advertising etc as well as sources such as Referrals. You can monitor the number of enquiries, appointments and sales resulting from each Source. Each source has a creation and expiry date to define the duration of a campaign.

How to create aSource Type

• Select CRM tab
• Select Source button
• Enter a Description of the source
• Enter Expense Account if applicable - If this is an advertising campaign, enter the expense account from which
• an advertising campaign is paid
• Enter Estimated Cost if applicable - If this source is an advertising campaign, what is the estimated total cost of the campaign

• Enter Created Date - this is the start date of the campaign
• Enter the Inactive Date if applicable - this is the date the campaign ends
• Save
