Source Tracking

Do you know how to create a new Source and assign an Expense Account and Est Cost?

Select the CRM tab Select the Source button Enter Source Description Select an Expense Account - if required for reference purposes only Enter the Estimated Cost(ex) of the Source, e.g. Newspaper Advertising est cost $3,000 Select the Created date Do NOT select the Inactive date unless you are deactivating the source Select Save OR Select New to create another new Source (NB: The current Source will be saved is NEW is selected) Select Cancel to close and NOT save The Active tick box will automatically be flagged

Do you know how enable Source tracking in the Utilities Preferences area?

Select the Utilities tab Select the Preferences button Select the Sales tab In the General section select the tick box if you wish to "Disable Customer Source Tracking" In the General section do NOT select the tick box "Disable Customer Source Tracking" if you wish to force the entry of a Source when a new Customer is created
