Overview
The Source List allows you to enquire on and list sources of customer contact such as advertising campaigns like Yellow Pages, also sources such as Referrals. You can also monitor the number of enquiries, appointments and sales resulting from each Source. Each source has a creation and expiry date to define the duration of a campaign.
Ways Lists in ERP can be Manipulated:
How To View the Source List
- Select the CRM tab Select the Source List button
As per other ERP Lists, the Source List allows the user to:
- Search for specific data (refer to Global Features)
- Filter by selected criteria (refer to Global Features)
- Select a Date Range or Custom Range to display in the list refer to (Global Features)
- Customise the List view (Global Features)
- Export the displayed List (Global Features)
- Print the displayed List (Global Features)
- Select the relevant radio button to display the required list, i.e:
- Active Sources Only; Inactive Sources Only; All Sources;
- Double-click to drill into any entry to load the Source Type data entry screen.
- Select the 'NEW' button to add a new Source.
- The 'Source Type' data entry screen will load.
- Enter the Source Description, e.g. Daily Telegraph
- Select an 'Expense' account, e.g. Advertising Enter the 'Estimated Cost (Ex)', e.g. $3,000.00
- Select the 'Created Date' and the date the Source is to be made 'Inactive'.
- Select 'SAVE' or 'NEW'. Selecting 'NEW' will automatically save this entry.
