Overview

Employee Services gives the User the ability to create chargeable Services linked to a product, e.g. Product = Labour and you can set up multiple services such as Electrical, Mechanical, Plumber etc. You can create multiple other type products specific to each service that you provide, and link these to each Service respectively.

The Employee Service is directly linked to the Timesheet Entry allowing each service job to be recorded and paid separately. This also enables you to record the job profitability for each Customer job.

An Employee Service is the service rate charged to your Customers for services rendered.

NB: Please also refer to Timesheet Entry for the overall functionality of Employee Services.

How To Create an Employee Service

  • Select the 'Payroll Tab'
  • Select the 'Employee Services' Button
  • Select the Employee from the drop-down list.
  • Place the cursor in the Service Name 'Mechanical' field and use the down arrow (or tab through the fields) to

create a new line for entry of a new service for this employee.

NB: If the selected Employee already has services attributed they will load automatically.

  • Enter the name of the new service you wish to attribute to this employee, e.g. Auto Electrical.
  • Select the product this service is to be linked to for invoicing purposes, e.g. Labour.
  • Enter the charge out rate for this service as an Inclusive figure, e.g. $90.00 inc.

  • Create the required OTHER Type Products, e.g. 'Child Minding' if you wish to select specific products to be

  • Select the Employee you are copying the services from
  • Select the tick-box to 'Create/Update For All Employees' if you wish to apply the services to all other

employees.

NB: The Employee selection drop-down will no longer be available for selection when the above is chosen.

  • OR Select the tick-box to 'Create/Update For This Employee' if you wish to apply the services to one

particular employee.

  • Select the employee you want to copy the services to.
  • Select the 'Process' button.
  • The selected employee will now have the Service/s added to the services previosly allocated.
  • Select the 'Mass Create' button to assign services to employees on a mass basis.
  • Select the tick-box to 'Existing Service Rates from Products'.
