Overview

The Shipping Container Status is a list of statuses created by you to help track ordered goods in transit. The status can be created to reflect your supply chain process. eg. your process may be:

1. BOOK space in a container 2. Goods are LOADED into the container 3. Transited to PORT 4. SHIPPED on a vessel etc.

How to create Statuses for Containers

  • Select Purchases tab
  • Select Shipping Containers Status button
  • Select last line in the list and use the down arrow on your keyboard to create a new line.
  • Enter a Type and Description

Once created you cannot delete a status as it may be used in an existing Purchase Order or Sales Order. If you no longer want to use a status make it inactive by unticking the Active button in the list
