Server Connection

Overview
To check the server connection details go to:
Startup => explore => programe files => ERP software => connection.ini
Trouble Shoot:
When connecting users to the server you must ensure that all details are correct: 'server name is correct' 'user name is correct'
If you have tested that the user's computer is active and it is able to see shared files and access the internet but get an error message "Unable to connect to the Server" Trouble shoot by checking the following:
- Go to my computer =>
- Click on View system information (System Properties) =>
- Click on Computer name =>
- View Full computer name (this must be the name used for the connection)
If the names are not correct there will be a problem with connection so ensure all details are correct:
